In the process of deep media integration, the upgrading of technical infrastructure has become a key driver for content innovation and communication efficiency. As a major media hub in southern China, Guangdong Radio and Television Station (GRT), building on the achievements of Phase I of its 4K ultra-high-definition channel construction, continues to advance the development of an XR virtual studio. By leveraging immersive production, converged media collaboration, and a unified platform for orchestration, GRT is exploring a new path for the coordinated development of "technology–content–platform." The LED vertical and floor screens, built with Showho Technology's BKB and BKD series products, contribute to more refined and efficient program content production.

The virtual shooting screens in the XR studio consist of Showho Technology's BKB195 curved vertical screen and BKD260 floor screen. The vertical screen measures 16 meters in arc length and 5 meters in height, while the floor screen covers an area of 77 square meters with a depth of 6 meters. The studio is also equipped with a NovaStar MX6000 Pro processor, a British disguise virtual rendering system, Sony high-definition studio cameras, and other devices.

The core hardware and software system solution enables an efficient workflow from image capture, processing to rendering output. This combination of equipment not only meets the production requirements of high-quality television programs but also achieves professional standards for film production, making it suitable for scenarios such as virtual live streaming, variety shows, and film shooting.

The fine-pitch LED video wall achieves a completely seamless display with natural and realistic color reproduction, providing an excellent shooting environment for XR virtual production.

The BKB195 vertical screen selected for GRT's virtual studio features broadcast-grade professional display performance. With key specifications such as high brightness, high refresh rate, and wide color gamut, it perfectly meets the shooting requirements of professional broadcast cameras, accurately rendering realistic images and providing reliable display technology support for the construction of a professional and efficient broadcast studio.
