Showho Technology Greater Bay Area Virtual Production Studio Open Day – Hong Kong Special Session Concludes with Full Success

On October 18, 2024, Showho Technology’s Greater Bay Area Virtual Production Studio held a grand open-day event, specially inviting more than 50 experts and instructors from Hong Kong’s virtual production industry to visit and exchange ideas.

Showho Technology’s Chairman Jiang Kezheng, Deputy General Manager Lin Wen, and other leaders warmly welcomed the visiting guests. Together with the delegation of Hong Kong virtual production professionals, they entered Showho’s Greater Bay Area Virtual Production Studio, experiencing firsthand a variety of Showho products and diverse application scenarios. Two XR check-in points were set up on-site, allowing participants to receive videos immediately after the experience, giving them a tangible sense of the perfect integration of technology and creativity.

In his opening remarks, Chairman Jiang Kezheng first extended a warm welcome and gratitude to the guests from Hong Kong. He emphasized that the application of virtual production technology offers a wider range of scenarios and fields, providing creators with a one-stop service solution. He further stated that as a new frontier technology, Showho’s establishment of the Greater Bay Area Virtual Production Studio aligns with industry trends, leveraging advanced technology to deliver more efficient and professional virtual production services that meet the needs of professional users. He expressed his hope to promote higher-quality development in film and television production and looked forward to exchanges and collaboration with all attendees to explore the limitless potential of virtual production.

Inside the Showho VP Virtual Studio, Mr. Huang Yaohui, Showho’s Asia Regional Sales Representative and New Media Operations Director, introduced Showho Technology and the studio’s overview. Spanning a total area of 1,800 square meters, the Showho Greater Bay Area Virtual Production Studio is currently the largest-scale virtual studio in the Greater Bay Area. Integrating creativity, technology, and service, it provides users with convenient, efficient, and innovative virtual production experiences. It also serves as a new channel for brand and IP communication, offering innovative methods for joint marketing and promotion. The studio plays a crucial role in advancing the film and television production industry toward higher quality.

Deputy General Manager Lin Wen highlighted Showho’s latest achievements in cutting-edge technology fields such as virtual production products and LED cinema screens. He detailed how the company’s virtual production technology enhances efficiency and quality in film and television shooting, demonstrating Showho’s strong capabilities in technological innovation. Showho Sales Director Hou Yu shared application case studies, illustrating how Showho’s advanced virtual production technology helps filmmakers, advertisers, and content creators achieve more efficient and cost-effective production processes.
